Located in the heart of the UK within easy reach of the motorway network, with direct trains to London and connections via Leeds or York to the rest of the country, Yorkshire Event Centre, in the lovely spa town of Harrogate, really is the perfect solution to all your event needs.
Offering 6,270 square metres of flexible space across two purpose-built halls with access to the 200 acres of the Great Yorkshire Showground, we are the perfect choice for anything from a meeting for 500 delegates to a dinner for 2,000. Both Halls have easy and efficient loading and have vehicular access.
When you hold an event at Yorkshire Event Centre, not only will our passionate and experienced team work with you to ensure it's a success, but every penny goes to help fund the charitable activities of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society which, was formed in 1837 to support, food, farming, and the countryside.
We take our green credentials seriously and are proud to say that amongst other things, we have LED lighting throughout, a solar panel array on the roof to Hall 1 and none of our waste goes to landfill.

Accessibility
The Yorkshire Event Centre has been designed to be a level access venue, great for wheelchairs and pushchairs. We offer entrance ramps and double doors to both halls and automatic doors in the main entrance. All entrance steps and ramps have handrails. Both of our cafes are located on the ground floor. We have 6 disabled toilets and additional accessible toilets. We have installed a spacious Changing Places facility. We use pictorial symbol signage across the venue to direct visitors. We welcome assistance dogs on-site and can ensure drinking water is made available. If required, we also have space for assistance dogs to be exercised.
Covid Measures
Ventilation will be increased, improving fresh air circulation. Yorkshire Event Centre’s cleaning team have been trained to deliver new cleaning procedures. This includes ensuring all touch points are regularly wiped with sanitiser. Hand sanitisers will be provided across the public areas of the venue.
