With a 20,000 acre environment at your disposal there is simply no better place for a team-building and collegial event than at Swinton Estate. We have a range of activities and courses to fulfil objective learning and ensure your group experience makes the most of their time, from a choice of estate shooting, mountain-biking, cookery classes, falconry experiences, Farm Adventure, hunter gatherer, orienteering or pony trekking.
The on-site Country Club and Spa offers employees the chance to look after their wellbeing, whether it be group yoga, Sound Bathing, woodland mindfulness walks or use of the spa facilities.
The 20,000 acre Estate is home to Swinton Park, with the Panelled Room, Lister Room, Library, Private Dining Room and Samuel’s Restaurant, with additional break-out rooms including a Morning Room, Private Sitting Room, Billiards Room and Drawing Room. Swinton Country Club and Spa has private dining and conference facilities in the Arnagill Room. Swinton Bivouac is our glamping site, home to a Tipi, Owl Barn, Café and stunning views. Meeting spaces can be set up where your creativity allows, even overlooking the stunning Leighton Reservoir. Other venues across the Estate include a Cookery School, Lake House (in the middle of Top Lake) and the Deer House, set within the deer park overlooking Swinton Park.
Overnight accommodation is available in the 42-bedroom Swinton Park hotel, Swinton Cottages and in Tree Lodges and Meadow Yurts at Swinton Bivouac.

Meetings can make use of the voice recognition camera, which will position itself to be on the person who is talking, microphones for the table and a TV screen for screen sharing.

Accessibility
The function rooms are located on both the first floor and ground level. If stairs need to be kept to a minimum, please mention when booking. Car parking is on tarmac at Swinton Park and on gravel at Swinton Bivouac and the Deer House.

Outdoor venue
Swinton Estate, 20,000 acres of Yorkshire countryside for you to find your perfect venue. There’s capacity to hold a meeting in the middle of the deer park, at a viewpoint or meet over a picnic at a Bothy Hut in the Dales. Catering can be provided at any location too. Whether a meeting, product demonstration or team building day.
Team Building Options
With a myriad of activities from fishing and falconry to more relaxing wellness activities at the Country Club and Spa, there’s plenty of reason to bring your team to the Swinton Estate. Activities such as Axe throwing, archery and clay pigeon shooting can be done remote, so we can bring it to you for a break in the day or your preferred team building base for the day.
