Newby Hall & Gardens

Set within 150 acres of stunning award-winning gardens and parkland, and nestled on the banks of the River Ure, Newby Hall creates a stunning, unique setting for all manner of events from Weddings to Corporate Away Days and Photoshoots.

A fully licensed venue with various indoor and outdoor event spaces within the House, The Orangery or the Grounds. The formal yet cosy, columned Library can hold up to 80 people seated and similarly for the impressive Statue Gallery. A larger drinks reception can be held across the main rooms of the House and onto the South Terrace overlooking the award-winning gardens.

For a more intimate celebration the exquisitely restored Grade 1 listed Orangery with its floor to ceiling windows and private courtyard can seat up to 60 and has the option of an attached marquee in the rear courtyard for larger parties.

The estate also features a huge marquee site to the West of the House which can accommodate an unlimited number of guests with the beautiful backdrop of Newby Hall & Gardens, perfect for large celebrations and multicultural events as well as 150 acres of usable parkland for large outdoor events.

Endless, incredible backdrops mean the opportunity to create beautiful, memorable photography is simply unparalleled in the region. There is a beautiful historic Church located within the estate and you can even take a celebratory train ride on our miniature railway or cruise down the Ure on one of our River Boats!
