How Stean Gorge
How Stean Gorge is based in Nidderdale AONB on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, 8 miles north of Pateley Bridge. We offer a unique setting for Corporate Events, Mini-Conferences and Team Building days with a difference.
The gorge is a visitor attraction allowing the public to see spectacular views of a natural limestone gorge. In addition, How Stean Gorge provides outdoor activities such as gorge walking, abseiling, caving, canoeing and via feratta. These activities can be prebooked for groups of all sizes and they can be tailored to suit a variety of requirements.
On-site there is a glass-floored café that can seat 50+ people. The café is suspended over the gorge allowing visitors to get to grips with the true scale of the venue. Open seven days a week to the public and can be hired for private events.
Camping is available on site. In addition, we are soon to have chalets available for customers to hire. The chalets complete with wood burning hot tub access will vary in size and will have the capacity to sleep groups. For groups wanting self-catering accommodation, there is a bunk barn a short drive away.
Bespoke packages can be assembled for those wishing to combine outdoor activities with accommodation and/or food and discover why How Stean Gorge is so popular for Corporate Events & Team Building days for organisations large and small.
