The hotel offers a range of both formal and informal events spaces throughout the original Grade II* listed Hall and in the modern Garden Pavilion which houses the principal banqueting suite and our unique Champagne & cocktail bar, Valeria’s.
With four restaurants to choose from, guests are spoilt for choice in terms of dining options and a selection of private dining rooms are available depending on the party size. The setting makes the hotel a wonderful choice for weddings and events looking to make the most of the stunning backdrop of the Georgian mansion house and the grounds offer ample space for team-building activities.
The main function space, the Grantley Suite, offers excellent natural daylight, a private bar and access to a private terrace overlooking the formal gardens. The suite is fully air-conditioned with lighting and sound systems built-in and offers a flexible space for events of all kinds. A feature chandelier in the centre of the room adds style to any event.

Valeria’s is a subterranean Champagne and cocktail bar perfect for drinks receptions, parties and social occasions. Catering for parties of up to 150 people this unique space offers a built-in circular bar, DJ booth and dancefloor and is guaranteed to wow any clients who visit.

The Orchard
The Orchard offers a relaxed environment for informal social events and drinks receptions. Set in a stunning sperry tent with access to the West Lawn this space offers a private bar and lounge area.
Dales Suite
starred food in beautiful surroundings. Boasting original oak panelling, impressive artwork and feature chandelier this room can cater for up to 20 guests. Diners will enjoy the tasting menu served in our main fine dining restaurant and our sommeliers are on hand to recommend the best wines to complement the meal.
